Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a hospital business office or 3 years in collections, with strong telephone and confidential information handling skills. Great customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; one or two years of college preferred.
• At least 2 years hospital business office experience or 3 years in collection field; knowledge of third party payors collection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance, enter data, and provide accurate financial information to clients.
• Assist patients with questions on bills, insurance, and payment plans; handle denials, unresolved payments, and refunds.
