Conceptions Fertility Center in Provo, UT is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our compassionate team. You will handle patient accounts, insurance claims, and timely reimbursement, working closely with providers and staff to ensure accurate, compliant billing. Starting at $20.00/hr, DOE, and full-time, M-F 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical billing and insurance claims.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in billing tasks.
• Ability to work with providers and staff to resolve billing issues.
• Spanish bilingual is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations.

Responsabilités

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, fertility benefits, coverage requirements, and prior authorization needs.
• Review, prepare, and submit accurate insurance claims per payer rules and coding guidelines.
• Monitor A/R and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Investigate denials and appeals, including corrections and resubmissions.
• Post and reconcile payments, ERA/EOB, adjustments, and other transactions.
• Generate patient statements and assist with billing questions.
• Manage patient collections and payment plans as needed.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation and billing reports.
• Maintain accurate billing records and HIPAA-compliant practices.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to maximize timely reimbursement.
