ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a proactive Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Boca Raton office. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and focuses on ensuring accurate billing and timely payments to keep patient care uninterrupted.

You will resolve insurance and patient balances, investigate denials, liaise with insurers, support patients with billing questions, and keep accounts current in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical billing or collections experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes, referrals, and medical terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear, confident communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A team player thriving in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with billing systems and digital tools.

Responsabilités

• Drive resolution of outstanding insurance and patient balance with accuracy and timeliness.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials and EOB discrepancies.
• Communicate with insurance providers to secure payments and clarify issues.
• Refile and track claims to maximize reimbursement.
• Handle billing communications, including medical records and insurance documentation.
• Support patients directly by answering billing questions and guiding them through their accounts.
• Manage account status updates, including collections workflow and account holds.
• Prepare accounts for collection agency placement and assist with financial adjustments.
• Keep daily operations moving—mail processing, payment batching, and administrative follow-through.
