Job summary

TouchCare is seeking a Billing Specialist to resolve complex medical billing and insurance claims while advocating for members. You will work with members, providers, and carriers to correct errors and minimize out-of-pocket costs.

The role blends analytics, insurance expertise, and compassionate service to improve billing outcomes. The position supports a remote/hybrid setup with an emphasis on collaboration and accurate documentation, backed by a strong benefits package and career growth

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance benefits and claims processing.
• Experience interpreting EOBs and plan documents is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health billing issues.
• Advocate for members by explaining insurance coverage and EOBs clearly.
• Review billing records and plan documents to identify errors and coordinate corrections.
• Collaborate with carriers, providers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Navigate benefits like FSA/HSA/HRA and manage case documentation.
