Job summary

WakeMed is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to design, develop, and maintain analytics that support strategic decisions across the organization. You will partner with data scientists, clinical stakeholders, and leaders to translate complex data into actionable insights and mentor junior analysts.

This role focuses on scalable analytics platforms, data governance, and delivering data-driven solutions that improve operational and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Epic Clarity Data Model.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView for data visualization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.
• Epic Certification in the area of responsibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions for decision support.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and QlikView.
• Build and optimize data models, analytical frameworks, and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions meeting business needs.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics and data governance.
