Terros Health is hiring a Benefit & Eligibility Specialist to assist patients with insurance eligibility, enrollment, and financial screening across Medicaid, Medicare, AHCCCS, and commercial plans. The role collaborates with PAC, clinical teams, and payers to minimize barriers to care.

You will verify coverage, update EHR records, conduct outreach for renewals, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; healthcare degree preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare or AHCCCS is a plus.
• Ability to navigate payer systems and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with benefit applications, renewals and documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility and anticipate coverage gaps to promote access to care.
• Conduct financial screening and enrollment support for Medicaid, Medicare and commercial plans.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and payer information in the EHR.
• Document all interactions and enrollment activities per regulatory requirements.
