Elevance Health is seeking an Audit & Reimbursement Intern for Summer 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. The 12‑week internship (May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027) offers in‑office collaboration at least 3 days per week with some flexibility for productive, hybrid work.

Under guided supervision, you will assist with Medicare cost reports, reimbursement processes, and related audit activities. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a BA/BS program in accounting, finance, or business and can commit to 40 hours per

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in accounting, finance, business administration, or related to business.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (May 17, 2027 - August 6, 2027) at our Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with industry workload deliverables to provide well‑rounded support.
• Complete tasks related to various phases/workloads of the A&R process.
• Document business operations with either Microsoft Excel workpapers or Word narratives.
• Assist with assigned workload relating to Medicare cost report receipt, acceptance, and tentative/final settlement, and/or other audit support.
• Build professional relationships and network in the A&R profession.
