Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience in interpretation.
• BEI/NAD/NIC certifications required.
• Near-native or native fluency in ASL.
• Work experience in medical/health care interpreting setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate oral and sign language interpretations (ASL to English and English to ASL) in clinical settings.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Train new interpreters and coordinate interpreter services.
• Assist with department operations, scheduling and documentation in EHR.
