Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies or obtains patient eligibility and/or authorization for services.
• Updates patient demographics/insurance in systems.
• Researches unpaid or denied claims and statuses them.
• Reviews EOBs/UB-04 for payments or adjustments.
• Contacts payers via phone or mail to secure payments.
• Compiles data from client systems to resolve claims.
• Ensures timely filing within guidelines and deadlines.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
