Responsibilities

• Receive payments and allowances from insurance payers and enter payments, allowances, and adjustments.
• Review accounts for debit and credit balances and route them for resolution.
• Process insurance EOB statements to ensure payments are accurate.
• Identify and report recurring insurance payment discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Reconcile bank deposits with payments in the financial system.
• Enter account adjustments accurately and promptly.
• Monitor payment activity and identify discrepancies.
• Work with internal departments and payer-related teams to resolve issues.
