Job summary

MaineGeneral Health seeks a Financial Analyst to join our Reimbursement and Managed Care team. This fully remote role prefers candidates in Maine or New England. You will support payer contract interpretation, reimbursement analysis, contract modeling, strategic pricing initiatives, and payment variance analysis across multiple systems.

You will collaborate with senior analysts and operational teams to support reimbursement performance, contract maintenance, and financial decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in healthcare finance, reimbursement, or related analytics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support contract modeling, reimbursement projections, strategic pricing analyses, and contract performance evaluation.
• Analyze payment variances and reimbursement trends to identify issues and support contract performance and reimbursement improvement.
• Assist with interpretation of payer contract terms and support contract maintenance across multiple reimbursement systems.
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting to support budgeting, reimbursement performance, and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate across Reimbursement, Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and cross-functional teams to support contract performance and issue resolution.
