Job summary

PACS is seeking an experienced leader to supervise accounts receivable and resident funds, while partnering with the Administrator and Business Office Manager to direct administrative activities within established policies. The role emphasizes community relations and independent decision-making to uphold financial integrity and patient services.

The position requires 3+ years in healthcare AR, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prepare financial reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare AR or billing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret business regulations and journals.
• Strong report writing and correspondence skills.
• Ability to explain information clearly to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train personnel involved in accounts receivable and resident funds.
• Assist in organizing, planning, and directing administrative activities.
• Represent the community in relations and awareness efforts.
• Make independent decisions when warranted.
• Support the Administrator and Business Office Manager with administrative tasks.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and policies.
• Perform general business office tasks including cash receipts, billing, patient rights, safety, and accounting functions.
• Manage all billing, balance daily receipts, collect delinquent accounts, and refer delinquent accounts as needed.
• Prepare financial and statistical reports.
