• Ability to read and interpret an EOB.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding government or commercial healthcare insurance receivables.
• Verify patient eligibility and/or authorization for services.
• Research EOBs and denials to secure payments and resolve claims.
• Communicate with payers by phone or mail to obtain payment.
• Update client systems with payments, eligibility changes, and claim status.
