This position requires at least 2 years of healthcare AR experience, familiarity with CPT/ICD-9, and proficiency in Excel and medical billing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare accounts receivable third-party billing experience.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-9, and third-party reimbursement practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and medical billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile third party payments and perform adjustments.
• Manage pre-billing reviews, billing, follow-up, and cash postings for an assigned business line.
• Deliver customer service by resolving inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct admissions and census reviews to ensure accurate resident account setup.
• Perform cash posting and adjustments for subsequent billing or resolution.
• Research unapplied cash and credit balances using codes.
• Embrace a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
