Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care in America. We seek a Staff Healthcare Analyst to lead clinical analytics, health economics, and outcomes research, partnering with Clinical, Finance, Engineering, and Product to prove the value of home-based care.

Based in San Francisco, this full-time, hybrid role sets strategy for risk adjustment, cost-of-care analyses, and publication-ready studies, contributing to payer negotiations and evidence generation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare/clinical analytics, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), actuarial analytics, biostatistics, or population health, with leadership in analytics for business or clinical domains.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for statistical and predictive modeling.
• Hands-on experience analyzing payor claims data (medical and pharmacy) with ICD-10, CPT, NDC codes.
• Direct experience working with health plans, payors, or actuaries and communicating methodology.
• Proven experience designing and executing health outcomes studies and contributing to publications or conferences.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk models and population health analytics to inform care prioritization and interventions.
• Own risk adjustment methodologies and ensure alignment with payor and regulatory expectations.
• Develop ROI and cost-of-care analyses to quantify the value of family-led care for health plans and government partners.
• Design and validate health outcomes studies and align with industry-standard measures where relevant.
