Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering, ML, or Applied AI experience.
• Strong programming skills and software fundamentals.
• Experience with language models, ML models, or AI APIs.
• Backend development, APIs, data processing, testing, production systems.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and iterate from evidence.
• Interest in evaluations and understanding AI success/failure.
• Ownership and collaboration with users and operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Must reside in or relocate to the SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered products and automation for caregivers, clinicians, and operations.
• Develop production backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Work with complex healthcare information and structured/unstructured data.
• Evaluate and improve system quality through datasets, metrics, and prompts.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, and Operations to iterate from feedback.
• Contribute to strong engineering foundations and reusable components.
