Job summary

Ursa Health, a remote-first analytics and software company, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to bridge client delivery and product development. You’ll extend the Ursa Core Data Model, build synthetic objects and data marts, and partner with CS, data engineers, and product managers to shape solutions for healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with healthcare data in analytics, engineering, or consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data domains (e.g., claims, EMR, behavioral health) and standards (ICD, CPT, HL7).
• Proven experience in building and managing reusable analytics models and data products.
• Experience working directly with clients in scoping, delivery, and support of technical solutions.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and analytics tools/platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-specific analytics solutions using Ursa Studio to develop data models, synthetic objects, and measures tailored to client needs.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers to scope, plan, manage, and support analytics workstreams with clients.
• Consult and train clients on analytics workflows and best-practice approaches using Ursa’s platform.
• Contribute to product and cross-client solutions by building scalable analytics components for Ursa’s SaaS platform.
• Work with AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while ensuring sound, domain-appropriate outputs.
• Maintain high-quality documentation of solution approaches and deliverables.
