Health Services Advisory Group, Inc. (HSAG) is seeking an Analyst I to join the Data Science & Advanced Analytics division.

The role supports cutting-edge analytic studies across diverse healthcare data projects and helps transform data into actionable insights for decision and policy makers. Ideal candidates will have a statistical/analytic background, experience with healthcare data sources, and proficiency in SAS or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, public health, health services research, or related discipline.
• Completion of college-level coursework in statistics and other quantitative methods.
• Academic, internship, research, or professional experience using data to answer defined questions, evaluate patterns, or produce analytical findings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an engaged member of HSAG's Data Science & Advanced Analytics division.
• Develop understanding of healthcare data sources, structures, terminology, uses, and limitations.
• Apply established statistical, epidemiological, and analytical methods under guidance of senior staff.
• Write, test, and maintain statistical programming code.
• Use SAS, Python, and other approved tools to access, transform, analyze, summarize data.
