• Help ensure timely authorization of hospital admissions
• Support compliance with payer contract terms to help secure reimbursement
• Communicate with third-party payers and internal departments regarding authorization, certification, and payment issues
• Respond well to department and organizational changes
• Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records
• Maintain and monitor denial accounts with clear notes in the system
• Collaborate with nurses, payers, and operations to resolve issues
• Identify payer trends and communicate findings
