Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation seeks an Admissions Specialist to be the first contact for prospective clients and families, guiding them through intake, qualification, funding options, and enrollment toward a smooth transition into services.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, handles a high volume of inquiries, coordinates with multiple teams, maintains accurate CRM records, and stays compassionate and confidential throughout the admissions journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in healthcare admissions, healthcare sales, customer service, or related field.
• Knowledge of healthcare funding sources such as Medicaid Waivers, CLTC, Medicare, VA benefits.
• Strong phone and communication skills with clear, compassionate explanations.
• Ability to manage a high volume of prospects at different stages.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using CRM systems and Google Workspace.
• Strong collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for inquiries by phone, email, website, and referrals.
• Respond promptly and maintain follow-up throughout the admissions process.
• Complete intake and qualification, documenting service needs, location, funding source, and referrals.
• Educate families on Elite's services and enrollment steps.
• Identify funding pathways including Medicaid Waivers/CLTC, VA, Medicare, private pay.
• Coordinate next steps such as tours and assessments.
• Maintain ownership of prospects and ensure timely follow-up.
• Document leads and outcomes in the CRM and required systems.
