Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking an Admissions Coordinator for Merced Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and La Sierra Care Center. The role focuses on efficient admission processes, accurate records, and compassionate interaction with residents and families.

You will work with nursing, administration, and marketing to ensure smooth admissions, timely documentation, and proactive communication with physicians and hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some college advertising, marketing or business courses helpful.
• 1 year experience preferably in a long term care environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Build admissions packets.
• Maintain an accurate record of available beds.
• Interview residents/guardians/sponsors and obtain required admissions information and signatures.
• Notify nursing department when resident arrives and escort to room.
• Assist with resident admission orientation.
• Communicate admissions problems to a nursing supervisor.
• Create and update a list of residents and room numbers.
• Provide excellent customer service to potential residents and families.
• Conduct facility tours professionally.
• Maintain compliance with admission packet sign-ins.
• Partner with Administrator and Marketing Director on monthly sales calls.
• Make calls to physicians, hospitals, and medical groups with Marketing Director.
• Update CRM (PointClickCare) daily.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings.
