Richmond Post Acute in Richmond, VA is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the end-to-end admissions process with nursing staff, patients, and families. You will drive smooth transitions, build referral networks, and analyze admissions data to identify process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership, regulatory adherence, and maintaining accurate records while delivering high-quality patient care. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a similar role are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process, including coordinating with nursing staff, patients, and families to ensure a smooth transition into our facility
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Review and analyze admissions data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the admissions and nursing departments
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of patient admissions and discharges
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and concerns related to admissions and patient care
