Job summary

Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the NW Children’s Neonatal Unit. The role focuses on administrative tasks, data handling, and coordination to ensure smooth patient throughput and efficient department operations.

A strong emphasis on accuracy and communication is required for daily workflow. The position involves scheduling, meeting coordination, timekeeping, and collaboration with clinical staff to optimize patient care pathways and unit

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (Required).

Responsibilities

• Administrative Duties: collect/compile/prepare information for reports, prepare charts/graphs/tables, create forms and worksheets, coordinate meetings and calendars.
• Unit Operational Duties: manage time sheets, payroll, reimbursements, inventory and supplies, maintain Leadership filing system.
• Data Management: oversee data collection and maintenance including financial/quality reports and demographics.
• Patient Flow: assess staff and bed availability, coordinate with clinical leaders, support transfers and discharge preparations.
• IT Troubleshooting: troubleshoot PCs/printers/fax machines and coordinate IS referrals.
• Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
