Qualifications

• OR two years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant or Customer Service position.
• Given training and on the job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
• Preferred: Medical Coding and or Insurance Billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and manages the telephone efficiently.
• Effectively schedules appointments and reviews/prepares electronic health records for visits.
• Collects payments and co-payments and enters charges to optimize reimbursement.
• Works as part of a team to support smooth office flow.
