Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a 2027 Administrative Intern role in the Greater Chicago area. You will support multiple departments, participate in rotation, and work on healthcare management projects to gain hands-on experience.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergrad program related to healthcare leadership or public health, with a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate strong communication, detail orientation, teamwork and multitasking abilities. On-site, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Freshman, sophomore, junior or senior standing as of Fall 2027.
• GPA of at least 2.5.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects.
• Becomes part of the work unit team to carry out assigned work within the rotation.
• Help build a broad range of healthcare management skills across Advocate Health.
• Directs or leads the work of others in a work group or task force.
• Assist in describing and integrating the functions and relationships of practice, education and research.
• Assist in developing programs, processes or applications.
• Prepare information and research materials; create and maintain presentations.
