Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Manager of Accounts Receivable Services to oversee the AR team, manage daily activities, and maintain client relationships. The role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations, staff training, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years in a hospital business office or similar setting, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. On-site role with occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ experience in a hospital business office setting or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitors client inventory and ensures accounts are worked timely and accurately and collection goals are met.
• Monitors follow up activities to ensure work assignments are equitable.
• Ensures team meets quality and productivity standards and addresses underperformance.
• Reviews contract pricing and coordinates with director/contract management when issues arise.
• Maintains HIPAA policies and ensures reports and client inquiries are addressed.
• Provides training, monitoring and feedback to team and enforces confidentiality.
