Job summary

performance-io is seeking an Account Executive with 1–2 years of experience to support our growing healthcare accounts team and be a key point of contact for day-to-day client communication.

You will help keep accounts organized, coordinate with SEO/GEO and content teams, and gain hands-on experience managing agency-client relationships, with a path to a more senior client-facing role over time.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years project management experience is essential, and ideally working with pharmaceutical / healthcare clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with agency colleagues to devise online performance programs that meet the client's brief and budget.
• Brief PIO specialists across SEO/GEO, performance, and content divisions and assist with end-to-end online performance marketing programs.
• Liaise with the client and the PIO team by maintaining regular contact with both.
• Undertake administrative tasks as needed.
• Support Senior Account Managers in managing and growing existing client accounts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM.
• Prepare status reports, recaps, and internal updates for account teams and leadership.
• Assist in drafting and formatting client-facing materials, including proposals, SOWs, and presentations.
• Help coordinate timelines, deliverables, and internal handoffs between clients and internal teams
• Join client calls and meetings to take notes and follow up on action items.
• Flag risks, blockers, or client concerns to senior account staff proactively.
• Continuously learn account management best practices and agency processes.
