Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of admitting, medical claims processing, or customer service with financial interaction.
• One year experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS and SMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting demographic, insurance and financial information.
• Explain and obtain signatures on admission, clinical and financial forms.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations.
• Enter charge orders and schedule admissions.
• Identify payer sources and patient financial obligations.
