Job summary

Kintegra Health in Lincolnton, NC is hiring a Community Resource Advocate to assist patients with Medicaid Expansion, ACA enrollment, and other social services. You will guide clients through enrollment steps, coordinate with community partners, and document activities in MAC and other systems to ensure timely referrals.

Ideal candidates have experience in medical offices, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, and strong interpersonal skills to educate and advocate for patients’ needs while

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical office software and strong communication skills.
• Ability to plan and facilitate community outreach events.
• Maintain active membership in Continuum of Care Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to community members, patients and providers.
• Use motivational interviewing to assess needs and resources.
• Educate about program requirements and enrollment steps; refer as needed.
• Uphold guidelines for Medicaid Expansion, MAC, MAP, Medicare and ACA programs.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient workflow and data updates.
• Recruit volunteers to expand SHIIP and SOAR services.
