Job summary

Kintegra Health seeks a Community Resource Advocate to assist patients with enrollment in Medicaid Expansion, ACA plans, and related programs. You will coordinate outreach events, educate patients, and connect them with community resources through MAC, SHIIP, and other platforms.

This role requires strong communication, bilingual ability (preferred), and a commitment to patient advocacy. The position emphasizes collaboration with the outreach team and community partners in a dynamic healthcare

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to plan and facilitate community outreach events.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to community members, patients, fellow employees, and community agency staff.
• Using motivational interviewing, assess individuals’ current needs and resources.
• Educate about program requirements and assist with enrollment and/or referrals.
• Uphold guidelines for Medicaid Expansion, MAC, MAP, Medicare, ACA insurance, and related programs.
• Participate in quality initiatives to improve processes and minimize errors.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient workflow.
• Use data systems to update referrals and expedite patient processing.
• Adhere to reporting and certification requirements for applicable programs.
• Recruit volunteers to expand SHIIP and SOAR services.
• Document activities in MAC, Connector, TPC, and related tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with community members and partners.
• Develop outreach and engagement with community agencies and officials.
• Handle physical setup for enrollment events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
