Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Instructional Health and Wellness Specialist to manage work-based learning documentation, assist students one-on-one, and support classroom operations. The role includes maintaining Health and Wellness labs, coordinating equipment, and supporting pathway events with instructional staff.

You will prepare materials, assist with assessments, and help ensure a smooth learning environment for students across health-related pathways.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Health science license or certificate required (e.g., CNA, EMT, etc.).
• AHA BLS CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• High attention to detail is essential.
• Promotes a positive climate, culture, and community.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate documentation and logistics for work-based learning activities by collecting and organizing student forms.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support to reinforce learning and skill development.
• Prepare instructional materials, set up learning environments, and administer make-up assessments.
• Coordinate pathway purchasing and budgeting with instructors for equipment and supplies.
• Manage Health and Wellness lab spaces, inventory, and equipment readiness.
• Assist with scheduling and on-site coordination for CTSO meetings and recognition events.
• Coordinate with instructional staff to ensure smooth transitions between classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
