Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an Instructional Health and Wellness Specialist to support work-based learning experiences, student instruction, and lab operations. This role involves managing forms for field experiences, providing targeted student assistance, and helping maintain health science labs and equipment.

You will also coordinate events and assist with purchasing and budgeting for instructional resources.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• HSE diploma required prior to hire.
• No professional work experience required.
• Health science license or certificate and BLS/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate documentation and logistics for work-based learning activities (field trips, clinicals, job shadows).
• Provide instructional support to students through one-on-one and small-group sessions.
• Support operations by preparing materials, setting up learning environments, and administering make-up assessments.
• Assist with pathway purchasing and budgeting and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Manage Health and Wellness lab spaces, inventory, and readiness of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate pathway events including CTSO meetings and recognition ceremonies.
• Collaborate with instructional staff to ensure smooth transitions and shared spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
