Job summary

University of Houston Campus Recreation seeks an organized administrator to oversee day-to-day operations of a large university program, supervise staff and student workers, and manage budgeting and reporting.

This role coordinates calendars, meetings, travel, and procurement; supports leadership with proposals and strategic planning; and collaborates with partners to advance health and wellbeing initiatives across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in administrative support and leadership coordination.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the calendar of the AVP and HWB Leadership Team.
• Coordinate professional development planning and travel for the AVP.
• Plan and oversee HWB team meetings and events.
• Manage shared Teams environments and related digital resources.
• Support outreach and communications aligned with priorities.
• Assist with budget processing and reporting.
