Job summary

The University of Houston System is seeking a capable administrator to manage day-to-day operations within Campus Recreation. The role supervises staff, navigates budgets, and coordinates calendars and communications for the AVP and leadership team.

Responsibilities include planning development, maintaining MS 365 environments, and supporting grants and procurement efforts to advance health and wellbeing initiatives across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Three years or direct, job-related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the calendar of the AVP and HWB Leadership Team Calendar.
• Coordinate professional development planning and tracking for HWB Leadership team; support travel arrangements.
• Plan and oversee HWB full team connections; chair a representative planning committee.
• Manage and support shared Microsoft Teams environments (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner).
• Support outreach and communication efforts aligned with priorities.
• Assist with budget processing, financial transactions, and reporting.
• Plan procurement and management of equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Collaborate on grants, sponsorships, and philanthropic reporting.
• Support agenda development and documentation for HWB meetings and events.
• Contribute to HWB strategic planning and reporting improvements.
