Job summary

University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-disciplinary health and well-being initiatives as part of the HHWB Impact Theme Year. You will manage campus-wide events, internal grant programs, and stakeholder engagement across three campuses.

You will apply project management best practices, assemble teams, monitor milestones, oversee budgets, and produce leadership updates and promotional content to advance health equity and whole-person well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Minimum of 2+ professional years of experience in full lifecycle project or program management.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Knowledge of events management and coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to use project-management platforms to maintain plans, schedules, documentation, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, cross-disciplinary health and well-being projects, defining scope, schedules, resource needs, and deliverables.
• Assemble and lead project teams across U-M schools, Michigan Medicine, administrative units, and statewide community partners.
• Administer internal competitive grant programs, including application intake, review processes, award disbursements, and progress reporting.
• Apply project management best practices to monitor milestone progress and maintain standards.
• Oversee end-to-end event management for forums, workshops, showcases, and campus convenings across all three campuses.
