Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Project Manager to lead health and well-being initiatives across all three campuses. You will manage cross-disciplinary projects, coordinate with schools, Michigan Medicine, and administrative units, and oversee grant programs and events.

The role focuses on building a health-conscious culture, advancing health equity, and translating research into real-world impact. This is a hybrid position ending Aug 2028, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in full lifecycle project or program management for a complex organization.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and multiple concurrent workstreams with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, cross-disciplinary health and well-being projects across three U-M campuses.
• Assemble and direct project teams including schools, Michigan Medicine, and partners.
• Administer internal grant programs, including intake, review, and reporting.
• Apply project management best practices to monitor milestones and resolve issues.
• Oversee end-to-end event management: forums, workshops, speaker series, campus events.
• Draft project briefs and promotional content for outreach and engagement.
