Qualifications

• Acts as receptionist and assists in-patient care delivery when appropriate.
• Answers telephone calls promptly and politely and answers questions as appropriate.
• Maintains knowledge of and efficiently utilizes all computer applications of assigned nursing units.
• Maintains knowledge, skills and ability to work in at least 2 nursing units within one year of hire.

• Prepares and maintains patient charts and admission paperwork.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Files charts and reports for easy retrieval and communicates results.
