Mayo Clinic seeks a Health Unit Coordinator in Eau Claire, WI to provide organizational and clerical support to patient care units, helping maintain smooth unit operations and effective communication across care teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplies, answering call lights, and assisting with orders in the EHR. Requires high school diploma and strong computer skills; EPIC experience preferred. Part-time schedule with rotating day/night shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of HUC post-secondary program, or HUC Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year working experience in a medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the healthcare team.
• Monitor and order supplies, promptly answer patient call lights, and elevate patient needs to nursing staff.
• Assist the care team with managing orders in the EHR and communicate with patients, visitors and staff.
• Support the healthcare team by anticipating and responding to team requests and patient needs.
