St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a high-demand NICU team. This full-time day position (0700–1930) covers 72 hours per pay period across three 12-hour shifts, with shift differential for nights and weekends.

You will perform patient care and nonprofessional services, while potential scholarships for nursing education may be available. The unit is a Level 4 NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage and possible floating to other Children’s Hospital

Our team of Certified Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients. This position will also take on responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator

The NICU is one of the larger units in the hospital; serving infants (and their families) requiring medical or surgical care immediately after birth. Infants' medical conditions vary from extremely premature to ones having difficulty transitioning to extra-uterine life.

We are a level 4 NICU: treating infants requiring gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal surgeries or treatments. We care for all types of patients excluding ECMO and complex cardiac surgery. We are a transport referral site and receive patients from all over the region. We are a delivering hospital and attend all high risk deliveries.

The NICU provides 24/7 Neonatology coverage with an in house neonatologist and nurse practitioner. When eligible for floating, we do support our other units within the Children's Hospital (Peds and PICU).

• Scheduled Days will be variable depending on unit needs
• Shift differential pay offered (Nights and Weekends)
• Perform various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
• Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
