Presbyterian Homes & Services – GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to provide administrative support to clinical operations and manage resident charts, supplies, and appointment coordination at nursing stations or households.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least one year of related experience, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and strong English communication skills.

• One year experience as a Medical Secretary or long-term care as NAR/TMA
• Medical Terminology
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to clinical operations at nursing stations or households.
• Process forms for admissions, readmissions, discharges and transfers.
• Schedule resident medical appointments, labs and x-rays, arrange transportation, complete outpatient forms, transcribe orders.
• Manage nursing supplies and equipment for the household.
