CentraCare Monticello Emergency Department seeks a Health Unit Coordinator to act as the communication hub for the unit. You will greet and assist patients and families, handle calls, organize patient charts, and perform clerical duties to support care.
This role features a part-time schedule with night shifts (12 hours) from 7pm to 7:30am, onsite, including every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. Starting pay is $19.42/hr with progression based on experience.
As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the CentraCare Monticello Emergency Department, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.
