CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Surgical Care Unit. The role focuses on serving as the communication link, greeting patients and families, routing calls, and supporting patient care through clerical tasks.

The position is part-time, onsite, with day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and 12-hour shifts totaling 48 hours every two weeks. Starting pay is $19.91 per hour, with a range up to $29.87 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience with office procedures and equipment; computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Job Description

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Surgical Care Unit, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.

Schedule

• Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | Onsite
• Day shift | 12-hour shifts | 7:00am-7:30pm

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $19.91 per hour and increases with experience
• Pay range: $19.91 - $29.87 per hour
