Job summary

WakeMed is seeking a finance professional with EPIC certification to provide analytical and technical expertise for the health system’s finance activities, including provider enrollment and government reimbursement reporting. The role oversees contract modeling for Medicare and Medicaid plans and ensures EPIC-reported payments are accurate, while investigating variances in over/underpayments.

Candidate should have an Associate's Degree in Accounting (preferred) and at least five years of finance

Qualifications

• EPIC certification in area of responsibility is required.
• Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical and technical expertise for finance activities for the health system, including provider enrollment, IME/GME reporting and various other government reimbursement reporting requirements.
• Oversees the Contract Modeling process for all Medicare and Medicaid plans and ensures expected payments reported in EPIC are accurate.
• Responsible for investigating over and underpayment variances for all Medicare and Medicaid plans.
