Marquis Companies in Portland, OR, is hiring for a Health Services Director-In Training Program (RN) in our Assisted Living facilities. The paid, full-time training will cover day-to-day clinical health services and RN delegations before transitioning to a full-time Health Services Director (RN) role as opportunities arise.

Your leadership and nursing skills will guide the facilities' health services, ensuring quality care while directing day-to-day operations and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate State.
• Experience as a nursing supervisor is preferred.
• Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and/or Home Health Nursing experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Delegate nursing tasks per state laws and practice acts, communicating with residents, families, and health care practitioners.
• Collaborate with staff to plan shift services, programs, and activities within the facility.
• Participate in resident care planning to meet needs and regulatory requirements.
• Perform assessments of health, functional and psychosocial status of residents.
• Communicate with residents’ families about health care needs.
• Direct in-services and staff development programs to meet nursing objectives and standards.
• Ensure adequate staffing to provide quality care by recruiting personnel.

AsaHealth Services Director (RN) - Assisted Living Facility

AsaHealth Services Director (RN) - Assisted Living Facilityyour Nursing and Leaderships skills will be used to ensure that quality care is provided to our residents as you direct the day-to-day functions of the Health Services Department. You will be responsible for theclinical health services coordination anddelegation of nursing tasks to non-certified staff that work in the Assisted Living.

As theHealth Services Director, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Delegate nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts, communicating regularly with residents, their families, and their health care practitioners.
• Collaborate with assigned staff and support personnel to plan the shift services, programs, and activities within the facility
• Participates in the implementation of the resident care planning process to comply with resident needs and regulatory agency requirements.
• Perform assessments on the health, functional and psychosocial status of each resident.
• Communicate regularly with residents’ families regarding health care needs.
• Direct the delivery of in-services/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that the department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to residents by participating in the recruitment and selection of personnel.
