Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Health Services Administrator (HSA) to oversee the delivery of correctional health care services. The role ensures compliance with regulations and accreditation standards while managing policies, staffing, budgets, and external partnerships to optimize care and costs.

The HSA will lead recruitment, orientation, and staff evaluations, ensure licensure and credentialing, and review inmate health cases, hospitalizations, and referrals.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of employment is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of three years of administrative, management, and supervisory experience.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience delivering correctional medical, dental, and mental health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate the health care delivery program to ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies.
• Oversee staff recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, and continuing education programs.
• Monitor subcontracted services, medical records, and contracted provider performance for quality and cost‑effectiveness.

Licenses & Certifications

• CPR certification.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
