Job summary

Pitt Community College is seeking a part-time Health Sciences Scholars Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Health Sciences Scholars Program. The role includes mentoring students, monitoring academic progress, and coordinating experiential learning opportunities to promote student success.

The position is up to 29 hours per week with no benefits, and the hourly rate will be determined based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant background in student services or education support.
• Experience coordinating programs or student activities is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Health Sciences Scholars Program including orientation, seminars, workshops, and events.
• Provide mentoring and academic monitoring to Scholars and connect them to campus/community resources.
• Support instructional activities by coordinating materials, assignments, and tracking milestones.
• Maintain program records, reports, and assist with budget tracking and procurement.
