Job summary

COPE Health Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to independently maintain day-to-day operations at multiple Health Scholar sites, serving as a key link between participants, internal teams, and hospital/health system clients. The role involves recruitment, supervision of 50–200 scholars, and ensuring smooth program operations across sites.

The position reports to the Regional Manager, with up to 80% travel and a full-time schedule in Woodland Hills, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2+ years of work experience strongly preferred.
• Passion for student teaching, mentoring and development.
• Strong project and people management skills; experience managing large group strongly preferred.
• Recruitment experience preferred; comfortable recruiting and networking is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit and ensure a strong pipeline of diverse Health Scholar candidates by attending recruitment events and engaging campus centers, professors and student organizations.
• Provide direct supervision to programparticipants (typically 50-200) as the sole Program Manager at client site, including mentorship and development opportunities.
• Manage and improve on-site program operations, including quarterly training, meetings, and major projects.
• Build and manage relationships with hospital client executives and staff for ongoing and future growth.
• Conduct analyses on program metrics to report impact, risks, and value to client partners.
• Plan for future client growth by opening additional rotations with client executives.
• Engage with Account Principal to pursue value-added services for clients.
• Support business development through market research and BD collateral.
• Identify and mitigate risks by addressing complaints from clients, staff and participants.
