The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point invites applications for the School of Health Sciences and Wellness Outreach Specialist. This regular, full-time role is based on the main campus and reports to the Student Success Center Director.

The Outreach Specialist will develop partnerships with community programs and deliver engaging learning experiences for SHSW students. You will lead outreach activities, coordinate events, manage resources, and help recruit, retain, and graduate students by

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience in higher education or student services.
Experience planning outreach events, building partnerships, and promoting programs.
Progressive professional work history with strong problem-solving and organization.

Responsibilities

May assist with monitoring outreach program budget spending.
Develops and evaluates curriculum and programs and provides recommendations for improvement.
Identifies, promotes, and maintains external partnerships to support the outreach program.
Researches, develops, and facilitates outreach program content and materials.
Delivers outreach program content and materials to community members.
Leads the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures through oversight of day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers.
Schedules and secures resources and communicates logistics in support of an outreach program.
