Job summary

Broward College is seeking a Health Science Pathway Retention Specialist to support Health Foundation of South Florida programs at the North Campus. Under supervision, you will guide Allied Health and Nursing students in academic planning, connect them with resources, and drive retention through workshops and direct support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Eight years of relevant experience.
• Ability to assess situations and use problem solving techniques.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to promote retention and academic success.
• Review academic progression for Allied Health or Nursing students and engage in classes when possible.
• Connect students with available resources and act as liaison to campus services.
• Coordinate delivery of student success workshops and promote them to students.
• Maintain and evaluate student data to ensure on-track progress.
• Facilitate student engagement in academic and career planning activities and college policies.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
