Broward College is seeking a Health Science Pathway Retention Specialist to support Health Foundation of South Florida grant initiatives. The role focuses on student engagement, retention, and academic planning for Allied Health/Nursing pathways at the North Campus.

The position is full-time temporary with annual renewal potential based on program sustainability. Requires a bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience, and reports to the Nursing Administration department.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Eight years of relevant experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide support services to promote retention and academic success.
• Review academic progression and engage with classes each term (in person when possible, virtual if needed).
• Connect students with resources and direct to the source whenever possible.
• Serve as liaison between students and resources such as Seahawk Outreach Services.
• Collect, evaluate, and maintain student and program data to ensure students stay on track.
• Coordinate delivery of student success workshops and promote them to students.
• Facilitate student engagement in academic and career planning activities and adherence to college policies.
